Symbala of the Month: April 2013

Arlene Arnold's Symbala

"My Personal Symbala Renewal this year seems to be movement supported by structure. At first glance, the structure is subtle--sacred geometry forms that emanate from a radiating, clear center and encompass most of the rest of the art.

"The movement is striking. It shows up in two different ways. Wings generate movement like that of a rotating airplane engine turbine and others that seem to be moving out on four sides representing the four directions. For me, this symbolizes the creativity of the color therapy work that comes from and through the center of my being.

"The second kind of movement looks like paddles radiating from a center that looks and feels like the globe. These are moving out from the four corners. The energetic pathways created by the color work are moving dimensionally through and beyond the physical globe. This Symbala feels very connected to what I offer through color therapy, yet it is very representative of the whole of my life. I am focused on balance. Here it is seen as structure and movement. I also feel it as the 'doing' part of life supported by 'being'."

Thank you, Lahrinda!
