Symbala of the Month: December 2003

Terrence Bates

Terry Bates' Symbala

"The first time I saw my Symbala I was immediately struck by the colors, shapes and depth and there was no way I could have anticipated the final results, even after looking through the other Symbalas on your website. I had a feeling of awe, even though I had no idea why.

"As I looked into it I could feel myself being drawn visually deeper into the structure and feeling many layers coming at me and then passing behind me. This continued until I reached a certain point that seemed to be a type of energetic boundary. I realize now that, at the time, I was trying to explain the way I was feeling in a tangible, tactile mainstream kind of perspective which wasn't going to work because this was a higher vibrational energy that was coming through. It was similar to seeing something in the periphery of my vision. Once I tried to focus directly on it, it was gone. This energy and focus was something I hadn't experienced before and had no reference point to draw upon for a clear understanding.

"As I gaze at my Symbala my vision and thoughts weave in, out and around and a different part will draw me in or appear to jump out at me. I can never really anticipate where my attention is going to be drawn and find it much more enjoyable if I just let it take me where it leads.

"I believe this 'meandering' creates a kind of cohesiveness that knits together all the thoughts and vibrational energies to see and experience what is beyond that initial experienced boundary. Light, color, shapes - all affect us. They were all being absorbed subconsciously as I was enjoying my Symbala. What I believe happened was that blockages were being removed and my energy and vibrational rate/frequency was being elevated."
