The Sun Card: Eight of Diamonds

8DMed

The Destiny Cards, a very complex divination system, are disguised as our standard 52 playing cards (53, including the Joker) found everywhere. And like all truly important and magical things they are hiding in plain sight! They contain keys to unlock understanding of self and the planet. All major civilizations take credit for inventing them, so they probably came from Atlantis.

When I decided to explore the energies of the Destiny Cards with Symbalas, I didn’t want to tread on any toes so I named my tribute to this system, Life Path Symbalas, and set up a 4th Symbala Gallery to showcase them.

The cards have many symbolic connections to the major systems of divination and are linked to our human journey along with the nature of our planet in time and space. Each person’s BIRTHDAY is represented by one of the 53 cards/Life Path Symbalas. This allows a very fine focus for understanding yourself and your life path.

The Life Path Symbala for October 1st is the Eight of Diamonds. So, if your birthday is today, this is your card/Symbala. You are powerful, special, and you were born to shine! When you smile, the sun comes out!

It’s a beautiful, sunny day in Seattle so this seemed like a perfect day to share the uplifting energies of ‘The Sun Card’.

Heading into Fall with a big smile on my face – enjoy!

With Loving Resonance, Lahrinda

Loosen Up!

LoosenUp

“The journey continues in new and ever surprising ways! Recently, I was peacefully playing one of my computer card games, without a thought in my head, when………I suddenly hear a voice, a big surprise since I live alone! It said, very clearly and joyfully, ‘Loosen up!’ This had never happened before, but I knew it was a much needed message. Friends over the years who have massaged my neck and shoulders call me ‘old wooden shoulders’! So I took the message to heart and have been working with it ever since…”

Read more about ‘Loosen Up!’ and its playful, relaxing, releasing energies.

Additionally, ‘Loosen Up!’ can be found in the Symbalas for Attunement sub-gallery of the Print Gallery and it frolics its way onto many Symbala products in my Zazzle Store.

Community Magic

CommunityMagic

“My ‘idea’ friend, Gemma Deneen, inspired me to draw this Symbala to embrace the energy of a community art project she visualized. The project didn’t come to fruition, but the Symbala did. She loved the Symbala and hopes it inspires more ‘Community Magic’!

“After naming this Symbala and getting ready to introduce it on my website, I realized some thought was needed on what that name reflected. In exploring the word, there’s an implication of Co-operation, Co-mingling and Co-mmunicating. All are very mutually beneficient concepts.

“There are all kinds of communities. Some are based on living location, others on enjoyment/agreement. Communities can be found in plants and animals and on a scope both local and worldwide, like the community of man.

“My awareness of community embodied a sense of expanded friendship revealed through shared vision and philosophic perspective. The key is the coming together for fun, joy and expansion. The amplification of these shared vibrations is amazing and, voila – MAGIC!

“As I was getting my thoughts together to write this, another friend, Renata Dunkle, called me to see if I could help her put together a flyer for a community event she was organizing in the near future. I laughed and felt the magic happening already! Here is a picture of the resulting flyer we Co-created. You can’t see it very clearly, but you can sure feel the magic!”
