Celebrate the Summer Solstice
Summer Solstice
Solstice, from the Latin, means ‘sun stands still’. In the northern hemisphere the summer solstice, June 21st, is celebrated as the day of the longest light of the year. In the southern hemisphere it is the winter solstice or the longest night of the year. There are 4 cardinal points in the zodiac: summer solstice (cancer), fall equinox (libra), winter solstice (capricorn) and spring equinox (aries).
Each of these events have power and strong symbolism. I was inspired by this summer solstice to bring through the first Symbala of a new series of 4 to celebrate these powerful energies. Enjoy the Symbala and the first day of summer or winter, depending on your perspective. More about this new series soon…
